Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Blackcomb Bridge, an AI phone receptionist service operated by Blackcomb Analytics ("Blackcomb," "we," "us"). By signing up for or using Bridge, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Bridge answers phone calls on behalf of a subscribing business ("Customer"), using an AI voice system to hold a conversation with callers, capture their information, and — depending on the Customer's configuration — qualify leads, answer questions, and book appointments. Bridge is a tool that assists a business's phone operations; it does not replace the business's own judgment, licensing, or professional obligations.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business signing up for Bridge. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about your business (services, hours, pricing context, and similar), since Bridge uses it to answer calls on your behalf. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bridge to: violate any law; harass, deceive, or defraud callers; collect personal information beyond what's reasonably needed to serve the caller; or use the service for a business engaged in illegal activity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Caller Information

As between you and Blackcomb, you are responsible for how you use the information Bridge captures from your callers, and for complying with applicable privacy law (including PIPEDA) in your own operations. Blackcomb's handling of that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Phone Numbers

If Bridge provisions a new phone number for you, that number remains associated with your Bridge account for the duration of your subscription. If you forward an existing number to Bridge, you're responsible for that number and its underlying service. We are not liable for interruptions caused by your telephone carrier.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Bridge depends on third-party infrastructure (telephony, cloud hosting, AI processing) that is outside our direct control. We're not liable for outages caused by those providers, though we'll work to restore service promptly.

8. Intellectual Property

Blackcomb retains all rights to the Bridge platform, software, and branding. You retain rights to your own business information and content. By using Bridge, you grant us a license to use your business information solely to operate the service on your behalf.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bridge is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blackcomb is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost business opportunities arising from missed, mishandled, or misdirected calls. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Bridge for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if we discontinue the service (with reasonable notice where practical).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Bridge after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
