Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Blackcomb Bridge is an AI phone receptionist service operated by Blackcomb Analytics ("Blackcomb," "we," "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled — both for the businesses that subscribe to Bridge ("Customers") and for the people who call a Bridge-powered phone number ("Callers").

1. Information We Collect

From Callers — when someone calls a phone number connected to Bridge, we may collect: the caller's phone number (via caller ID), anything they say during the call (recorded and transcribed), and any information they choose to share, such as their name, email address, or the reason for their call.

From Customers — when a business signs up for Bridge, we collect business information (name, services, hours, website), contact details for the business owner or account holder, billing information (processed by our payment provider, not stored directly by us), and any calendar or scheduling access the Customer chooses to connect.

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell Caller or Customer personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Who We Share Information With

Call information is shared with the Customer whose phone number the call was made to — that's the core function of the service. Beyond that, we use a small number of service providers (sub-processors) to operate Bridge, each bound by their own data protection obligations:

These providers may process data outside Canada. Where that happens, we require providers to maintain a level of protection comparable to what's required under Canadian law.

4. Data Retention

Call transcripts and Caller details are retained for as long as the Customer's account is active, so Customers can reference past calls. A Customer may request deletion of any Caller's data at any time. If a Customer's account is closed, associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Your Rights

If you're a Caller and want to know what information Bridge holds about you, or want it corrected or deleted, contact the business you called directly, or reach us at the email below and we'll assist. If you're a Customer, you can access, update, or request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies & Website Data

Our marketing website uses minimal, functional cookies/local storage — for example, to keep you signed in to the client dashboard. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Bridge after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
